Fees for Maintaining NAEYC Accreditation
On January 1, 2011, NAEYC will begin to implement a new fee structure for programs maintaining accreditation. The improved fee structure does not significantly raise fees when considered over the course of a program's five-year accreditation term. Rather, it provides a consistent accreditation fee that is due annually throughout the life of a program's NAEYC Accreditation to better assist programs in long-term budgeting for accreditation costs.
As the new fee structure is phased in, a program will pay annual accreditation fees according to its Valid Until Date. Click on the link below that includes your program's Valid Until Date to see how these improvements will affect your program's future budget:
NAEYC offers need-based scholarships to subsidize fees at each step of the process.
Additional Fees may be applicable if needed to inform decisions regarding candidacy or accreditation, or in the event of a late submission or visit cancellation.
Since the NAEYC Accreditation program was launched in 1985, the fees have never fully covered NAEYC's operating costs for the accreditation system. NAEYC continues to support the costs of the system.
