Training of Trainers Workshops
NAEYC will host two intensive Training of Trainers workshops on April 3-4 at NAEYC headquarters. The workshops are designed to provide program administrators with the skills, knowledge, and materials to train the staff at their own centers or schools.

Week of the Young Child
The purpose of the Week of the Young Child, the 41st of which will be held April 22-28, is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.

NAEYC National Institute for Early Childhood Professional Development
NAEYC’s 21st National Institute for Early Childhood Professional Development will take place June 10-13, in Indianapolis, Indiana. This year’s theme is “Leadership Throughout the Early Childhood Profession: Research, Policy, and Practice.”

NAEYC Annual Conference
The largest early childhood education conference in the world will be held Nov. 7-10, 2012, in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme for this year’s conference is “Developmentally Appropriate Practice in the 21st Century.” Information on attendance, sponsorships, and presentations will become available throughout the year. Attendee registration will open in early July.
