In April both Young Children and Teaching Young Children received national recognition by two different publishing groups for their excellent content.
Teaching Young Children (TYC) was selected as a 2012 finalist in the Periodicals category for the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) Golden Lamp Award. The AEP Awards honor outstanding resources for teaching and learning. Learn more on TYC website.
The Young Children article, "'You Want Me to Talk to Children about What?' Responding to the Subject of Sexuality Development in Young Children," by Mary Sciaraffa and Theresa Randolph received a Gold EXCEL Award from Association Media and Publishing.
