Materials Available to Public (Tier 1)
The 2010 NAEYC Standards for Initial & Advanced Early Childhood Professional Preparation Programs, as well as other resources for those interested in applying or learning more about the accreditation process, are available to the public.
Targeted Resources for Eligible Programs in Self-Study (Tier 2)
This private online space provides access to additional resources for programs seeking accreditation. Resources include samples, templates and planners. It also serves as the platform for peer-to-peer sharing and collaboration. Only programs deemed eligible for accreditation can access the online community. We encourage programs to apply for eligibility before getting too immersed in the work.
NAEYC Annual Conference and Institute Workshops and Sessions (Tier 3)
The full-day separate-fee workshops held prior to NAEYC’s Annual Conference and Professional Development Institute are designed for faculty engaged in NAEYC Recognition through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education or NAEYC Early Childhood Associate Degree Accreditation. Presenters include faculty from successfully accredited and recognized programs, peer reviewers, Commissioners and NAEYC staff. Other sessions on accreditation and recognition are held throughout these events as well.
The next workshop will be held on June 4, 2016 in Baltimore, MD prior to the 2016 NAEYC Professional Development Institute. Learn more.
On-Site Training Sessions (Tier 4)
This option is available for faculty seeking more individualized support beyond what is publicly available. Costs for individualized training vary and depend on the format and location. Contact us for more information.
