About the Training Program for Teaching Staff
Upon completion of the Training-of-Trainers session, program administrators and staff professional development specialists will be prepared to present the 12-module training program. The modules will enhance the teacher’s knowledge of each child, support relationship building with children and families, and make informed instructional decisions. The training program is organized into twelve one-hour modules based on questions that teachers ask about classroom-based assessment. Modules can be delivered in one hour segments or combined to create longer workshops. Assignments are provided with each module so that teachers can practice new skills and come back and share experiences.
