About the For Families Website Editorial Advisory Panel
For families Advisory Members assist the editors of families.naeyc.org in ensuring that the content of this website for families is practical, research-based, and relevant to the interests and needs of diverse families as they support their children’s learning and search for high quality child care programs.
Members provide feedback on the web-site's content and features; notify the editors of timely topics and trends in the field; recommend potential contributors; and review articles, article proposals, and multimedia content. Another aspect of the role is to provide ideas to help grow the family audience visiting the site.
Applications are evaluated for expertise and relevant experience. Applications are reviewed by Susan Friedman, Executive Editor, Digital Content and other NAEYC staff.
Term of Service
Panelists serve a three-year term beginning September 1, 2014. The position is renewable in some cases with reapplication.
