Annual Conference Proposal Reviewers

Responsibilities

  • Complete an online review of proposals for topic track(s) within a reviewer’s area of expertise
  • Select a designated number of proposals across session types
  • Collaborate with a fellow peer reviewer to recommend the best proposals for each track

Eligibility/selection process

Open to any member submitting an application. Applications are reviewed for relevant knowledge, experience, and background in conjunction with the knowledge, skills, and backgrounds represented by members currently serving a term as a NAEYC Proposal Reviewer.

Term of service: 3-year term beginning September 1. NAEYC Proposal Reviewers are responsible for participating in a two-stage peer review process over approximately a six- week period each year (typically between January and March).  Review work requires a computer and communication primarily via e-mail.
