About the TYC Editorial Advisory Panel
TYC Editorial Advisory Panelist members assist the editors of Teaching Young Children in ensuring that the content of this magazine for preschool educators is practical, research-based, and relevant to the interests and needs of its readers. They are appointed by the NAEYC Governing Board for three-year terms.
Responsibilities
Panelists recommend topics and potential authors, provide feedback on Teaching Young Children and its corresponding Web site, participate in reader discussions, and review, test, and provide suggestions for improvement of NEXT: The Teaching Young Children Staff Development Guide. Panelists serve a three-year term beginning September 1, 2012. The position is renewable in some cases with reapplication.
