Higher Education -- Financial Aid and Teacher Quality Partnership grants
- Pell Grants -- under ARRA, the maximum annual award to an individual will increase to from the current $4,731 to $5,350 in 2009 and $5,550 by 2010.
- Title II Teacher Quality Partnership Grants -- new competitive grants for partnerships between institutions of higher education and high-need local educational agencies, which may include in the partnership a licensed/regulated child care program, Early Head Start or Head Start program, or state-funded prekindergarten program.
