To register to vote in the State of Wyoming an individual must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be at least 18 years of age on Election Day
- Be a resident of Wyoming and the precinct in which you register
- Not be a convicted felon
- Not have been adjudicated mentally incompetent
Must register to vote at least 30 days before the election or on Election Day.
Can select party affiliation at the polls.

Can register to vote in person at:
- Office of the County Clerk or Town Clerk
- Your polling place on Election Day

Absentee Voting:
To obtain an absentee ballot application, call or write to your County Clerk.
You may go into the office of the county clerk 40 days before an election.
Absentee ballots can be returned in person or by mail.
In order to be counted, voted absentee ballots must be returned to the county clerk no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
