Illustrations are color keyed to the pyramid food groups with examples of foods in each group. Young students are encouraged with easy-to-remember phrases for the new pyramid such as: "Be active for at least 1 hour," "Make half your grains whole," "Vary your veggies," and "Go lean with protein."
