Your presentation's date/time, location, room setup, and room capacity can be viewed in our Itinerary Planner. Three hour sessions are scheduled on Wednesday, November 14. One and a half hour sessions will place on either Thursday, November 15 or Friday, November 16. The sessions on Saturday, November 17 will be one hour and fifteen minutes.
Important note on session scheduling: Presenters are expected to be available to speak during any timeframe of the Conference. We are unable to honor individual requests to re-schedule sessions.
Conference Registration and Travel Arrangements
All presenters need to register for the Conference and make their own travel and housing arrangements. Presenters receive a discounted registration fee. In order to receive this discount, please use the registration presenter code provided in the presenter registration e-mail. If you need the presenter code re-sent to you, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Presenters, register today using one of the options below. There are three ways to register as a presenter—
1. Online—Click here to register.
2. By fax—If you are paying by credit card, fax the Registration form to 708-344-4444.
3. By mail—Fill out the Registration form and send with payment to:

Each Registration must be accompanied by full payment. Purchase orders are NOT accepted. Non-US registrants—be certain your fees are paid in US funds drawn on a US bank, bank draft, or credit card.
Housing within the official NAEYC room block is open. To make your reservations, please visit https://www.naeyc.org/events/annual/2018/housing. Housing may fill up quickly, so we recommend booking now to reserve your spot.
Audio Visual Information
With the exception of Poster and Research Poster presentations, the following A/V equipment will be provided for Conference sessions: a projection screen, projection stand, LCD projector, one table microphone with a head table for three, and one podium microphone per session. The LCD projector will have a VGA cable long enough for the presenter to operate their laptop from the podium. HDMI, DVI or any other type of connection to the projector will not be provided. If you’re using your own Mac or Sony computer for your presentation, it’s vital that you bring your own adapter to connect your laptop to the LCD projector. Adapters will not be available on-site.
Due to the high cost of labor and equipment rentals, NAEYC is unable to accommodate additional audiovisual equipment requests from our presenters. If you have additional audiovisual equipment needs, outside of what NAEYC will provide, please see below for order forms/contact information.

To upload your handouts, go to the link below and follow the instructions below:
Enter the user name and password of the original submitter
- Select the proposal to which you want to attach a handout
- Click the link that says "click here to edit upload handout"
- Attach your document and click "upload files"
- To ensure that you uploaded the correct file, click on the file to view it
- To save and close, click Save and Continue
Please note the following file upload limits:
- Limited to a maximum size of 5 MB
- Limited to theses file types: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .wpd, .ppt, .pptx
Handouts will be accessible via the online itinerary planner.
Please follow the corresponding guidelines when presenting a session.
Location of Conference Events
All Conference sessions will take place at either the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001 or the Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C., 901 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001.
The Conference Program will include session titles, presenter names and affiliations, as well as a brief description. NAEYC may edit session titles and descriptions for grammar and clarity. The deadline to submit changes to presenter contact information was on Friday, June 29.
All sessions will be published in the Conference Final Program which registered attendees can pick up on-site in Washington, D.C.
If you must cancel your presentation, e-mail email@example.com with the proposal ID#, session title, and your name. This applies only to the sessions in which no presenters or substitutes are able to be in Washington, D.C. to present the session. Cancellations are accepted from the Primary Presenter only.
Product Sales are Not Allowed in Sessions

General Consent and Release for Use of Image
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NAEYC meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement for NAEYC, or anyone authorized by NAEYC, to record and use, as NAEYC may desire in its sole and absolute discretion, all recording and reproductions or depictions of such exhibitor’s or attendee’s name, likeness, voice, persona, words, actions, and/or biography, which NAEYC may make, including without limitation, the right for NAEYC, or anyone authorized by NAEYC, to use such recordings, reproductions, or depictions in or in connection with any legitimate purposes, including for advertising, publicity, trade, and editorial purposes, at any time in the future in all media now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world.
