Tips to Know Before You Go!
Join us in Nashville, TN, November 20-23 for the largest gathering of early childhood education professionals. Are you ready to network with professionals from around the world, hear from leaders in the field and learn best practices? Don’t let distance get in your way!
Check Passport Expiration
Is your passport set to expire in the next six months? “Visitors traveling to the U.S. are required to be in possession of passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the U.S. See list of countries exempt from the six month requirement.”
Apply for or Renew Your Visa Early
It can take anywhere from a week to a month or more to schedule a visa appointment at your nearest consulate or Embassy. Give yourself time to apply for or renew your visa. Check travel.state.gov, or your closest U.S. Embassy/Consulate website, for individual wait times and visa processing times.
Request a Visa Invitation Letter
Contact our conference department to request a personalized visa invitation letter. Please provide your full name, date of birth, passport number, company/affiliation, position and your contact information (address and telephone number).
Book Your Flight
Book at least two months in advance to avoid rising flight costs and remember to clear your browser cache after searching for flights.
Register for Early Bird Prices
Register early (starting in June) to save before fees rise. NAEYC members and groups of 10 or more are eligible for an added discount.
Need an Interpreter?
Bring a personal interpreter for your group of 10 or more and the interpreter's registration fee is waived! Register together as a group and indicate the last member (i.e. in a group of 10, this would be the 11th member) as the interpreter. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are also provided. Contact our conference department for more information.
