NAEYC offers a large selection of educational resources for early childhood professionals and others, including books, brochures, videos, posters, and periodicals. All members receive a subscription to the NAEYC print publication of their choice: Young Children or Teaching Young Children.
Young Children, a peer-reviewed, professional journal, is published five times a year. In it readers find engaging, relevant, research-based articles on current topics in the early childhood field. All members can access the online version of Young Children in the Members-Only section of the NAEYC website. Accompanying each issue is NEXT for Young Children—online professional development guides based on selected Young Children articles. Guides connect research to practice and encourage reflection and application of new ideas.
Teaching Young Children (TYC), a magazine for preschool educators, is published five times a year and offers practical ideas teachers can immediately use in their classrooms. NEXT for TYC, published five times a year to coincide with each TYC issue, is an online collection of ready-to-use training outlines that suggest ways to build on the content of articles and implement new strategies in the classroom.
Voices of Practitioners: Teacher Research in Early Childhood Education, an online feature, presents the research of early childhood teachers, who are often underrepresented as authors in the educational research arena..jpg)
