Carrie has been an early childhood teacher educator in a community college setting for over twenty years. Her belief is that all learning happens in the context of relationship.
As such, she has dedicated ongoing professional development and research to learning more about how to build meaningful relationships with students, fellow faculty, administrators, and professional colleagues regardless of the modality.
An area of interest throughout her career is the assessment of student learning and developing strategies for making the teaching, learning, and assessment process as meaningful as possible.
As a long time member of ACCESS, the Associate Degree Early Childhood Teacher Educators group, Carrie is interested in the preparation of, and ongoing professional development for teacher educators.
