Simeon Lehmann is the current Director at Arnold & Porter LLP, the first law firm in America to establish a licensed, NAEYC-accredited early learning center as part of its employee benefits package. Approaching 20 years of experience in education, leadership, and business growth, Simeon is a passionate advocate for children’s education and well-being.
Simeon has a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as an M.S. in Educational Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, for which he also serves on the Alumni board for. As a jack of all trades he has a background as a former USAG Women’s Gymnastics coach, Taekwondo martial arts fighter & coach, but first and foremost a teacher from infants to adults.
Simeon has collaborated with the Pay Equity Fund in Washington, D.C., ensuring fair and equitable pay for teachers, and serves as a steering committee member for DC Men in ECE and a DC LEAD mentor. Known for his engaging presentations on kindness-driven leadership, transparent communication, and team motivation, Simeon inspires others to build thriving, purpose-driven workplaces.
Simeon is also recognized for excellence in customer service, P&L management, and KPI growth, Simeon has a proven track record of driving enrollment, retention, and engagement through strategic planning, professional development, and authentic relationships. This also comes from his experience with The Little Gym International. Teaching Parent/child classes through grade-school motor skill development and learning through play throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Having the amazing opportunity to help franchise educators and teachers from around the world from Australia, England, Dubai, and many more.
Recently he has also worked with the Council for Professional Recognition on their podcast, with Exchange Press in writing an article on belonging along with experience, and speaking with Elissa Strauss on Men in the ECE workforce.
Simeon Looks forward to being a voice for Men in ECE, equitable pay for educators, and ensuring the importance of early childhood education work for all.
