Children's Champions Update - August 29, 2017
Together, we stand against hatred, as we wrote in our letter to early childhood educators in Charlottesville, Virginia and everywhere.
We send support to children, families, and communities in Texas, as they work to stay safe, together.
Together, we plan to meet in Atlanta, GA for NAEYC's 2017 Annual Conference (early bird registration ends September 8th) and once again for the 2018 Public Policy Forum, which will be held from March 4-6, 2018 in Washington, D.C. (Save the date now!)
With new weekly emails from America for Early Ed, we want to share information, tools, and resources you need to spark a conversation about high-quality early childhood education no matter who or where you are, so that, together, we can make sure #ECEwins. (See past emails here and join the campaign today!)
We ask our fellow K-3 teachers to take this survey, to inform our advocacy efforts, to ensure that we are able to advance our early childhood profession, together.
And together, we join those teachers and leaders in today's Title II Day of Action, highlighting the importance of professional development for teachers, and the potential impact of cuts to Title IIA funding. Call your elected officials and get social today!

Finally, together, we prepare for Congress to come back in session one week from today. We are ready to stand strong, and we know you'll be standing with us. It's going to be a busy fall - stay tuned, and stay together.
