      Young Children is NAEYC's award-winning, peer-reviewed journal focused on educating children from birth through third grade.
The Spring 2021 issue of Young Children includes a cluster of articles devoted to intentional practices that promote social and emotional development for infants and toddlers, which was developed in collaboration with Zero to Three. Additional articles in this issue focus on social and emotional learning in preschool and beyond, including encouraging responsibility in children, helping children--especially those who experience trauma--to navigate their emotions, and distinguishing between friendship and kindness in the classroom.
