Instructions for Obtaining Permission
Step 1: Review if permission is needed. Not all uses require permission, but many do. For example, citing NAEYC content in a paper, does not require permission. However making more than 25 copies of an article (including electronic copies distributed to more than 25 recipients), republication, or academic photocopying (e.g., for a higher education course) do require permission. Please review detailed information below.
Note: If NAEYC is not the copyright owner of the material for which permission is being requested, NAEYC cannot grant permission. You must contact the copyright owner.
If you are a publisher, company, or organization interested in licensing translation rights for an NAEYC publication, please complete our Translation Inquiry Form. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com. Browse NAEYC's latest Rights Guide to see available language rights for our books and booklets, brochures, and posters.
